A little coordination up front turns a potential headache into a smooth, shared journey. Here is how to book stays and manage the logistics for a large group. Apartments vs blocks of rooms

Two main approaches:

• A block of hotel rooms — simpler service and daily housekeeping, and better when you want everyone in one building close to the Ḥaram.

Many groups mix both — apartments for families, hotel rooms for individuals — which often gives the best balance of cost and convenience.

Keep everyone together

The priority is one building or a tight cluster so the group prays, eats and moves together. Book a block early in a single property, ideally in a close Ḥaram zone (or one reliable outer-zone hotel with shuttles) so no one is stranded far away. Being together also makes coordinating prayers, meals and departures far easier.

• Assign rooms and units clearly and share a rooming list so everyone knows where they are.
