The Al Hada cable car is a roughly 15-minute ride each way between Al Hada summit and Al Kar Tourist Village near Taif, with round-trip tickets from about SAR 100 per person; peak-season pricing can be higher.
Taif's famous telecabin descends 4.5 kilometres from the top of Al Hada mountain to Al Kar Tourist Village, floating above the switchbacks of one of Saudi Arabia's most dramatic roads. Ride down for the valley views, then add the toboggan run or waterpark at the village before returning. Queues build on summer weekends and in Umrah season, so go early.
