The Badr historical day trip is a private round-trip excursion from Madinah (about 150 km each way) visiting the Battle of Badr sites with waiting time included — from around SAR 250 per sedan.
A private-car day trip to Badr, where the first decisive battle of Islam took place in 2 AH. With a driver who knows the sites, visit the open battlefield, the graves of the fourteen martyrs, the Well of Badr and Masjid Al-Areesh, built where the Prophet's shelter stood. The drive takes 1.5-2 hours each way, with 3-4 hours on site for quiet reflection and prayer.

The graves are fenced for protection; visitors stand outside, keep voices low, make dua and dress modestly. Photography should be respectful.
October to March is most comfortable; year-round, aim for early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat.
