Umrah Visa from Indonesia 2026: Requirements & Process

Indonesia sends more pilgrims than almost any nation, and there are now several routes to Umrah. Many Indonesians travel via approved travel agencies, but the tourist eVisa and the Ministry's Visa Package (bundling flights, hotel and eVisa) are also options. Your routes

• Tourist eVisa — about SAR 535 including insurance, valid one year, multiple entry, allowing Umrah outside the Hajj season and travel anywhere in the Kingdom. Simplest for independent travellers. See the eVisa guide.
• Visa Package — the Ministry of Tourism package (available to Indonesia among others) bundles flights, hotel and the electronic visa in one booking.
• Approved agency (Umrah visa) — the traditional route, with a Nusuk-registered hotel and transport package, which many Indonesian pilgrims prefer for the hand-holding.

Requirements

• Passport valid at least 6 months with blank pages.
• Meningitis (ACWY) certificate — required for all Umrah pilgrims.
• A photo and accurate details; a Nusuk-registered hotel for the Umrah-visa route.

Nusuk permit

Whichever route you use, book your Umrah permit and free Rawdah appointment in the Nusuk app. Any valid Saudi visa allows Umrah — a dedicated Umrah visa is only needed if you have no other eligible visa. Your visa is entry; the Nusuk permit is pilgrimage permission.

Which route?

For independent travellers, the eVisa is simplest and most flexible, and lets you travel on beyond the holy cities.
